We are about 24 kilometres north of Saumur in the heart of the Loire Valley, and ideally placed for exploring the countryside by car or bike, or on foot—there are miles of flat forest tracks—or for going a little further afield and visiting the chateaux and sampling the local wines.
You can swim and sail boards on lakes close by, there is fishing all over the place and if you like riding, there are lots of stables close by.
If car and motorcycle racing interests you, we are barely 50 minutes from the track at Le Mans and on the right side of the town! There are many colourful markets in the area – you’ll find one somewhere every day of the week. There is a bird sanctuary at the lake nearby at Rillé, which is a must for bird-watchers.
